1. What data we collect

We collect only what's strictly necessary to operate the service:

  • Your email address, when you purchase a Pro plan (Monthly or Lifetime). You enter it at checkout and we pass it to our payment gateway (NOWPayments) so we can email you your activation key once the payment confirms.
  • Your email address, if you submit it through the free-guide form on our site. We store it to give you access to the guide and to send occasional product updates, which you can opt out of at any time.
  • Your IP address, recorded each time you activate or re-validate a key. We use it to detect key sharing (a limit of 5 distinct networks per key in any 30-day period) and to prevent fraud. IP addresses are stored alongside the key and are not linked to any other personal data.
  • Your IP address, user-agent, referring page, and browser language, recorded when you click a download link on this site. The download goes through our server before redirecting you to GitHub, so we can count downloads and see roughly where they come from. This is not linked to your email or to any key.
  • Standard server logs (timestamp, requested path, user-agent, response code), generated automatically for operations, debugging, and security.
  • Payment details, handled exclusively by NOWPayments, our crypto payment gateway. Checkout is paid in cryptocurrency; we never receive or store your wallet keys, card number, or banking details.

What we do NOT collect: your .ROBLOSECURITY cookie, your Roblox accounts, your inventories, your in-Roblox purchases, or your absolute spend. By default the desktop application runs 100% on your PC and never sends that information to our servers.

Optional community features (opt-in): if — and only if — you turn on the Community / Leaderboard features inside the app, the client sends a small, anonymized set of data to our community backend: an anonymous handle, your snipe counts and current streak, the percentage below your target (never the absolute price), optional item names, and a one-way hash of the asset IDs you track (never the raw IDs). This is off by default, never includes your cookie, accounts, prices, or any Roblox identifiers, and you can turn it off at any time from the app's Privacy settings.

2. How we use your data

  • Process your Pro plan payment and issue your activation key.
  • Email you the key after your purchase.
  • Verify that your key isn't shared beyond the 3-IP limit.
  • Count how many times the app is downloaded and from which networks.
  • Respond to your support messages when you contact us.
  • Maintain the security and availability of the service (logs, anti-fraud).
  • Comply with legal obligations (taxes, requests from authorities).

We don't sell your data and we don't use it for advertising. Most of our email is transactional (key delivery, revocation notices, support). The only exception is occasional product updates sent to people who submitted their email through the free-guide form — every such message includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time.

3. Third-party services

To operate the service, we share minimal data with the providers below. Each one has its own privacy policy:

  • NOWPayments (crypto payment gateway) — receives your email and processes the on-chain payment during checkout. Policy.
  • Our email provider (SMTP) — the transactional email service we use to deliver your activation key. It receives your email address and the message content (the key) in order to deliver it to you.
  • Cloudflare (CDN, DNS, email routing, analytics, and our community backend) — sees your IP and user-agent when the site loads. If you email [email protected], the message is routed through Cloudflare Email Routing. If you opt in to the Community / Leaderboard features, the anonymized data described in section 1 is stored in a Cloudflare Workers + D1 backend we operate. Policy.
  • Render (server hosting) — receives the HTTP requests that reach the backend. Policy.
  • GitHub (hosting for the download binaries) — our download link redirects to GitHub, which records your IP when you fetch the .exe from a public release. Policy.

4. How long we keep your data

  • Email + issued key: indefinitely, while the key is active, so we can provide support and verify ownership.
  • IPs recorded for anti-piracy: indefinitely, associated with the corresponding key.
  • Email submitted through the free-guide form: until you ask us to delete it or unsubscribe.
  • Opt-in community data: kept while the feature is enabled and tied to your anonymous handle; it carries no cookie, account, or Roblox identifier, and you can stop sending it at any time from the app.
  • Download records (IP, user-agent, referrer): up to 12 months, for download statistics.
  • Server logs: up to 90 days.
  • Payment records: NOWPayments retains transaction data under its own policy, and we keep purchase records as required for accounting and tax obligations (typically 5–10 years). On-chain crypto transactions are, by their nature, public and permanent on their respective blockchains.

If you request deletion, we remove your email, key, and IP history within a maximum of 30 days, except where the law requires us to retain records (e.g., invoicing).

5. Your rights

If you reside in the European Union (GDPR), the United Kingdom (UK GDPR), California (CCPA/CPRA), or an equivalent jurisdiction, you have the right to:

  • Access: request a copy of the data we hold about you.
  • Rectification: correct inaccurate data.
  • Erasure (right to be forgotten): delete your data.
  • Portability: receive your data in a readable format.
  • Objection: limit how we process your data.
  • Withdrawal of consent: where applicable.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected] from the address associated with your purchase. We respond within 30 days.

6. Cookies and tracking

limitedsniper.app uses no first-party cookies or similar technologies for advertising or personal analytics tracking. Cloudflare may set the technical cookie __cf_bm (Bot Management) to protect the site from automated traffic; this cookie doesn't identify individuals and expires after 30 minutes.

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-respecting: it uses no cookies, doesn't track users across sites, and doesn't send data to advertising networks.

7. Minors

Limited Sniper is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum legal age in your country, whichever is higher). We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor purchased the product, contact us and we'll delete their data and process a refund where applicable.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the service or to the law. The date at the top of the document indicates the current version. Material changes will be communicated by email to users with an active license.
